Mini Book Reviews – October 2018

Here are some Mini Reviews of books that I have read this month.

I would like to thank NetGalley and the publishers for a copy of the books in return for an unbiased review.

Little White Fish by Guido Van Genechten

My Rating: 💙💙💙💙💙

Format: Digital Review Copy (Ebook)

Publisher: Clavis Publishing

Genre: Children’s Fiction

My Review:

I thought this was a lovely picture book. It’s great for teaching younger children colours in a clever way. It also allows little ones to learn names of some sea animals. I loved the illustrations in this book. Simple yet beautiful.

I read this book to my nephew and he really enjoyed it, so much so that we ended up reading it 3 times in a row. Will be purchasing this book for him and as gifts for other little ones in the family.

Little White Fish and The Beautiful Sea

My Rating: 💙💙💙💙 (Really liked it)

Format: Digital Review Copy (Ebook)

Publisher: Clavis Publishing

Genre: Children’s Fiction

My Review:

I’m loving these books. This is the second book I have read by this author. Simply written and easy for little ones to follow. This one teaches the little ones about sea creatures as well as about friendships. Again the illustrations are so beautiful. Very colourful and inviting to little ones. Will definitely be recommending these books to some of my friends who work in nurseries with 2 to 4 year olds.
