September’s Round Up


Welcome to all my new followers and a big thanks to all my existing followers, I hope you’re all enjoying my posts. I know I’ve enjoyed reading all your posts.

This months gone so fast. I’ve had a very good month of reading I managed to read and review 16 books this month.

Below is a round-up of all the posts that I’ve posted this month and my personal favourites.

Book Reviews:

Manhattan Beach by Jennifer Egan – This was an OK read for me. Couldn’t quite work out what all the hype was about.  I rated this read 💙💙

Baby Talk: The Womb Has Ears (Book 2) by Mike Wells – This was a good book, that enjoyed very much. I rated this book  💙💙💙💙

The Babysitter by Sheryl Browne – I did’t like this book at all and only rated it 💙

Pre-publication: The Birthday by Carol Wyer – I really enjoyed reading this book and highly recommend. My rating for this book was 💙💙💙💙

Pre-publication: EGGSHELLS by Caitriona Lally  – Was an ok-ish read. My rating 💙💙

The Hate U Give by Angie Thomas – I really enjoyed this book was very thought provoking. My rating 💙💙💙💙

Book/Audiobook Review: Moonglow by Michael Chabon – This was my second attempt at this book and thought I would try the audiobook instead. I rated the book 💙💙💙

The Reading Group by Elizabeth Noble – This was my monthly book club read and was another ok-ish book. I rated this book 💙💙

Pre-publication: I invited her in by Adele Parks – Another great read that I enjoyed very much. A 💙💙💙💙 rating

Pre-publication: Hippie by Paulo Coelho – Was left with mixed feeling about this book. Rated it 💙💙

Audiobook/Book Review: Holes by Louis Sachar – A nice quick read, which I liked. My rating 💙💙💙

Life and Death (Twilight Reimagined) by Stephanie Meyer – A little disappointed with this book, still prefer the original. I rated this read 💙💙

Pre-publication: XX by Angel ChadwickThis was an interesting read which I really enjoyed. I rated this book 💙💙💙💙
