I SPY Friday – 24th August 2018

Another week has just vanished and it’s Friday already.

For those of you are new to this and probably wondering What’s I Spy… Friday?

Well Basically you answer TWO questions

Which books did I see and where?

What haven’t I read?

All you have to do is  list the books that you’ve seen people reading, buying, discussing or even being advertised, along with where you saw them. Very easy and simple.

I thought it would be a great way to keep track of books that I remember seeing and maybe even adding to my TBR list if I haven’t already read them, because let’s face it, you can never have too many books!!!

Here’s this weeks I SPY FRIDAY

Which books did I see and where?

  1. Origin by Dan Brown – on the bus
  2. The Left hand of Darkness by Ursula K. Le Guin – my best friend is reading it at the moment
  3. The Vegetarian by Han Kang – at the bus stop
  4. Eleanor Elephant is Completely Fine by Gail Honeyman – waiting area at doctors
  5. The Stand by Stephen King – at the park
  6. Slay In Your Lane by Yomi Adegoke and Elizabeth Uviebinené –  a parent was reading it at a play centre where I took my nephew to play

What haven’t I read?

I haven’t read any of the books above but I do have a copy of Origin by Dan Brown waiting to be read, it arrived from Amazon in the post yesterday, and Eleanor Oliphant is Completely Fine by Gail Honeyman waiting on my Kindle.

Feel free to take part, and don’t forget to let me know what your I spy Fridays have been by leaving a reply below.
