New: I SPY FRIDAY

Happy Friday everyone!!! Welcome to my new weekly meme ‘I Spy Friday’

This is a new weekly meme that I’ve come up with. The idea came to me while I was out and about and saw different people reading different books.

What is I Spy… Friday?

Basically You answer TWO questions:

Which books did I see and where?

and

What haven’t I read?

All you do is  list the books that you’ve seen people reading, buying, discussing or even being advertised, along with where you saw them. Very easy and simple.

I thought it would be a great way to keep track of books that I remember seeing and maybe even adding to my TBR list if I haven’t already read them, because let’s face it, you can never have too many books!!!

Here’s my first ever I Spy Friday list.

Which books did I see and where?

  1. Little Fires Everywhere by Celeste Ng – waiting area at hospital appointment
  2. Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austin – on the bus
  3. The Martian by Andy Weir – someone returning at library
  4. Alone in Berlin Hans Fallada – at the bus top
  5. Charlie and the Chocolate Factory by Ronald Dahl  – young boy reading this on the bus
  6. The Snowman by Jo Nesbo – waiting area at hospital appointment
  7. Death on the Nile by Agatha Christie – at my friend’s office.

Which books haven’t I read?

  1. Little Fires Everywhere by Celeste Ng
  2. Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austin
  3. Alone in Berlin by Jane Austin
  4. Death on the Nile by Agatha Christie

Feel free to take part, and don’t forget to let me know what your I spy Fridays have been by leaving a reply below.

Also, please let me know if  you have seen this meme done before by leaving a link to where it has been seen so I can give credit to the creator if it the same idea. I did do an online search before creating this meme but couldn’t find anything like it so went ahead a created it. Thanks in advance for any replies.

Happy Reading!!!

  1. So great to see you spotted so many great books.. I only ever see people on their phones or reading an ereader but no chance in finding out what book it is then, unless I’m sitting next to them.. then I often take a sneaky peak :-). I haven’t read any of the books you spotted either but Little Fires Everywhere is on my readlist :-).
